Cathleen McClelland has been a member of the AICM-Michigan Management team since its inception in 2014 and currently is our Director of Case Management. Cathleen has worked in the case management field for 11 years working with various at risk populations. Cathleen has a love for her job, her patients, and with educating people about the benefits allotted to them through their auto insurance.
Cathleen graduated from Miami of Ohio (the 10th oldest public university in the United States) in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and shortly after graduating started her career in case management.

Cathleen is a Certified Case Manager (CCM) as recognized by the Commission of Case Management which is recognized globally for their advancement and evolution of the case management field. The CCM is the largest and most comprehensive case manager credential, recognized across all health care settings.

Cathleen’s patients love her dedication to their rehabilitation; her best career accomplishments involve seeing her client’s not just succeed but excel after a catastrophic injury. Cathleen has a reputation for being kind, flexible, and compassionate with her clients. Cathleen also has a passion for tennis – she was a high school tennis star who, tragically, was unable to play at the collegiate level due to catastrophic car accident. This event has given Cathleen a unique ability to emphasize with her patients and understand their struggles after a motor vehicle accident.

Cathleen also spent 7 years as a teaching tennis professional after she was unable to play competitively and spends part of her spring helping coach a local High School Tennis team.

(Extension 515)Jillian graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health in 2014 and a Master’s Degree from Grand Valley State University in Occupational Therapy and Health Sciences in 2016.Jillian became a skilled licensed and certified Occupational Therapist and started her career working with individuals at a Skilled Nursing Facilities. There she began treating those who were disabled, ill or injured patients with the therapeutic use of daily activities. Her goal was simple and direct; help patients improve, regain and develop the skills needed for day to day life and workJillian has a vast experience working with individuals across the life span that have occurred injuries and illnesses effecting their independence with daily living tasks both physically, cognitively and psychologically. Her experience and education propelled her into the role of Director of Rehabilitation at Heartland Skilled Nursing in Livonia and then Reliant Rehabilitation of Livonia. These positions, which entailed her not only providing patients with the utmost quality of care, but managing an entire team of therapist while working alongside a multi interdisciplinary team.

Jillian has stated that her, “past experience of being a Director of Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapy is what drew me to Case Management”. Jillian’s goal is to assist and meet the needs of each client in order to help make their day to day functioning more accessible, independent and functional. Jillian strives to promote improved quality of lives for each individual client.

Jillian is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and during Jillian’s free time she enjoys being a “dog mom” to her favorite pup, Hank, and traveling the world one country at a time.

Jennifer has over 20+ years of nursing experience as a Director of Nursing for home care agencies and in Case Management. In addition, Jennifer is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War, where she served as a front-line combat medical specialist.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at the University of Michigan. She has extensive knowledge in Catastrophic Case Management, Worker’s Compensation and worked for over a decade in private duty home care management. “It is my goal to help my patients through all phases of their healthcare of care including wellness, illness, injury and rehabilitation. Expert Case Management is the key to navigating the often confusing world of our healthcare system. This is especially true for those patients who have been catastrophically injured in a motor vehicle crash.”

Jennifer is a Persian Gulf War Veteran and knows the value of hard work. This is evident in the dedication and attention to detail she gives to each and every one of her clients. Having worked in the Southeastern Michigan area for many years, Jennifer has an extensive provider knowledge base and will help guide individuals to make the best choices for their care, rehabilitation and recovery.

Jennifer provides comprehensive care planning and is a client advocate, ensuring that medical and psycho social needs are met, as well as focusing on rehabilitation goals. Jennifer plans on furthering her education to become CBIS and CCM certified in the near future.

Jennifer rejoined the AICM team in March of 2020 after a short hiatus. Jennifer is a speech language pathologist by trade with over 25 years of experience in the field working in outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, homecare and community reintegration programs for a variety of client diagnoses and ages. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Audiology and Speech Science from Michigan State University and her Master of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Central Missouri State University. Shortly after graduation, she moved to southern Florida where she resided for 12 years soaking up every bit of sunshine and warmth that she could.

Jennifer has had many titles, including: Speech Pathologist, Director of Rehabilitation, Team Leader and Mentor; however, she is extremely happy and proud that she has resumed the title of Case Manager and is able to once again assist with coordination of care and advocate for clients that have suffered injuries as a result of motor vehicle accidents. She often states, “My biggest downfall that has become my greatest strength, is not being able to stay in my own lane. I feel the reason I succeed as a case manager is because of my desire to help with all aspects of one’s care and recovery and to be able to look at the big picture and of course, weave in and out of my lane!”

Jennifer loves being with her family and pet dogs. She enjoys fitness and yoga classes, running, and spends most of the summer either up north or watching her son play travel baseball. She loves to travel and hopes to someday own a countryside home in Abruzzo, Italy.
