Our journey began in 2005 with the founding of TRIAD Case Management, established by Maureen McCall, Michael Malecki, and Jennifer Meadows. From the start, McCall was the heart of the organization—an unyielding advocate with unmatched clinical knowledge and a fearless voice for those injured under Michigan’s No-Fault system. While Meadows moved into law and Malecki advanced into hospital leadership, McCall pressed forward, eventually rebranding as McCall Case Management. Her efforts built more than a company—she built a reputation for doing whatever it took to protect her clients.
By 2014, the scale of McCall’s work had grown exponentially—and so had the emotional burden. Facing burnout but unwilling to abandon the mission, she turned to Malecki. He agreed to take on the operational and strategic leadership—but only if McCall stayed involved in a guiding role. And from that pivotal conversation, AICM – Michigan was born: a name that signaled not only a new chapter, but a deeper commitment to the values that McCall embodied—courage, clarity, and relentless client-centered care.
Beginning in 2015, AICM – Michigan entered a new era of growth that would ultimately shape the organization into the respected case management leader it is today. What began as a small but highly focused team evolved into a diverse group of experienced professionals capable of managing some of the most complex catastrophic injury cases across Michigan. With that growth came expanded clinical expertise, stronger operational leadership, and a deep bench of professionals representing multiple disciplines within healthcare and rehabilitation.
The foundation of this expansion began in 2016 with the addition of Jennifer Kosh, SLP, whose clinical background in speech-language pathology broadened the organization’s multidisciplinary capabilities. Over the years that followed, AICM continued to attract highly experienced professionals from nursing, occupational therapy, social work, and rehabilitation backgrounds—each bringing their own perspective and expertise to the care coordination process.
Key additions to the team include:
Together, this group reflects the strength that comes from professional diversity—a team that includes registered nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social work professionals, and rehabilitation specialists. This broad clinical perspective allows AICM to approach every case with a deeper understanding of the medical, functional, and psychosocial challenges catastrophic injury patients face.
As the organization matured, its leadership structure evolved as well. Today, Jennifer Kosh and Jessica St. John serve as Associate Directors of Case Management, providing operational leadership, mentoring case managers, supporting complex case consultation, and ensuring that AICM’s standards for documentation, coordination, and advocacy remain second to none.
Under the leadership of Michael Malecki, RN, FF/EMT, President and CEO, AICM – Michigan has grown not only in size, but in capability and reputation. What defines the organization today is the strength of its people—a multidisciplinary team united by experience, compassion, and a shared mission.
Together, they continue to advance AICM’s commitment to Care, Led by Experts™, delivering thoughtful coordination and unwavering advocacy for the individuals and families they serve.
